Drum Equipment Accessories (Self-closing Drum Cover)
Self-closing Drum Cover provides an inexpensive way to convert open-top 200 litre steel drums into fire-safe receptacles for combustible waste. Only a screwdriver and spanner are needed to attach the cover to a drum, and it can easily be removed when the drum must be emptied. Cover is constructed of steel with a highly chemical-resistant powder-coat paint finish. Fits drums from 565 mm to 578 mm diameter. Replaceable fusible-link assembly inside the cover melts at 74ºC to automatically slam the cover shut if there is a fire in the drum, extinguishing the flame. FM Approved.

Adjustable models screw tightly into drum and can be adjusted to dispensing position, with spout downwards, without thread damage or leakage. For troublefree dispensing of viscous non-corrosive flammables such as adhesives, paint or heavy oils above 2000 SSU (about 30W oil), use Justrite’s 51 mm viscous liquid gate valve, Model 08552. Justrite’s Cabinet Rolling Cart makes it easy to relocate a heavy safety cabinet, bringing flammable solvents and chemicals directly to your work area. All welded 3mm heavy-duty steel with reinforced corners for maximum durability, this cart includes a builtin grounding wire which can be attached to a grounding lug on the side of the cabinet. Large 127mm poly caster wheels, (two swivel and two fixed) all have brakes for added safety, keeping cabinet in a secure position during use. Ergonomic 31.75mm push handle is removable.
